Welcome to the Bog Slog!

In addition to our 4 annual series (Winter/WIOL Series, Ultimate Series, Weds Evening Summer Series and Choose Your Adventure Series), we've got one more race that is so epic, so awesome, that it stands alone!

The Bog Slog, typically held between Christmas and New Year’s Day, is orienteering at its winter sloppiest. The weather usually cooperates, with lots of cold or buckets of rain—sometimes even snow. The event has a reputation for insanely difficult courses, huge changes in elevation, memorably remote controls, and lots of mud. Not for the faint of heart, but a must for anyone seeking maximum challenge and mud-collecting opportunities!

CascadeOC has been organizing this race annually, no matter the weather, since 1980! Traditionally at St. Edward State Park, the Bog Slog switched to Lord Hill Regional Park in 2013 and has been enjoying the terrain and topographic challenge ever since.

See you at Lord Hill Park this wet, sloppy holiday season!
